Searching for work

Looking for work requires initiative and an active approach. You can and should develop your job search skills. At Job Market Finland, you can learn about job search tips and rules and create your own profile, through which you can then receive job recommendations.

Registration as a job seeker

At the Jobmarket you will find information and services related to work life. You can register as a job seeker in the E-services of TE Services, create a job search profile, and look for jobs.

If you become unemployed or are laid off, register as a job seeker as soon as possible. You can register as a job seeker before your unemployment or lay-off begins, but do so no later than on your first day of unemployment, because you can only receive unemployment security from the registration date.
