Recruiting an employee from Europe TE Office
The EURES service of the Employment and Economic Development Office assists organisations in recruiting employees from EU/EEA countries.
The EURES (European Employment Services) service will help you when you want to recruit an employee from an EU/EEA country. The EURES Advisers at the TE Office will give you advice and help you to plan and execute the recruitment process and select the target country. They will also initiate the recruitment process together with the EURES service of the target country. The EURES Advisers can reply to job advertisement enquiries, accept applications on your behalf and make pre-selections with you. In addition, EURES can organise an interview or information event abroad, attend events and even give the foreign employees advice in matters related to moving and to the Finnish working life.
The EURES service organises online and on-site recruitment events in Finland and in EU/EEA countries. The employers can participate in these events themselves or submit the job to an EURES Adviser for marketing.
Another support measure for European recruitment is the European Job Mobility Portal EURES, in which it is possible to advertise job openings and employers can study the jobseekers’ CVs. In addition, a job advertisement can be published on the national job vacancy sites of the different countries.
