Specialists’ Job Market Finland will be developed into a better tool for TE specialists
The Specialists’ Job Market Finland is going to bring major changes to the work of TE specialists. For this reason, the service is developed in a way that allows the specialists to have a strong influence on their future tools. A development workshop for TE specialists was organised in Tampere on Wednesday 9 October 2019.
Henna Koivula, Specialist in Enterprise and recruitment services at the Uusimaa TE Office is pleased with the fact that the users’ needs are a starting point for building the new system.
“It feels exciting to be able to overcome the limitations of the current system and think beyond it. It is nice to see and influence the look of my future desk. I am pleased to realise that the software development starts off from the users’ and companies’ needs instead of considering what is possible within the current system. The system will adapt to the users’ needs also at the individual level.”
Specialists are an important resource in development
The public version of Job Market Finland (kokeile.tyomarkkinatori.fi) has been under construction for long. Now that the building of Specialists’ Job Market Finland is seriously under way, the users’ opinions are listened to very carefully, Development Specialist Antti Seppänen says promisingly.
“Cooperation with the users is a fundamental pillar in the development of Job Market Finland. Through it, the software is being developed while ensuring a user-driven approach. It is great to see so many enthusiastic specialists present. We will learn a lot here”, Seppänen says.
Specialists from Pirkanmaa, Uusimaa, Western Finland, Southeast Finland, Northern Ostrobothnia and Enterprise Finland took part in the workshop on Wednesday.
