The Job Market Finland pilots regional pages and content
The piloting of regional content and regional pages has started at the Job Market Finland. The pilot areas are Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Tampere, Kouvola, Vaasa and Mikkeli. Regional pages bring together the services available in the area and regional current news, as well as a direct link to jobs in the area. In addition, different theme pages can be found in the regional pages, which are used to present topics relevant to the region, such as industry entities, specific employment or training projects or service networks of cooperation networks.
The regional pages can be found in the top menu of the Job Market Finland. The choice of location is made according to the municipality, but the regional page is eventually formed at the county level.
Piloting seeks users' experience of the necessity and adequacy of content pages, as well as the functionality of the intended implementation. On the other hand, the pilot wants to get feedback from regional partners about the production and maintenance of regional pages, the need for guidance and support, and so on.
The piloting takes place in the beginning of the year, after which the concept will be finalized on the basis of the feedback received. The plan is to publish regional pages nationwide during 2021.
