New features on Job Market Finland
Job Market Finland was successfully updated on March 16th 2021, bringing improvements to matching, profiles and regional pages, to name a few. Check out the most important changes here.
Job recommendations page
If you have filled in a job applicant profile, you likely have taken a look at the Job recommendations page where you will see job postings that match your knowledge, skills and wishes. The matching logic behind these recommendations has now been updated. From now on, the match will automatically recognize text entered in the open text fields of a profile. This is intended to provide even better job recommendations. If you haven't filled in your profile yet, sign in try it out. If you like, you can give feedback on the job recommendations.
The Job recommendations page now has new filters for filtering job recommendations to best match your situation. You can filter jobs by the publication time of the posting or working time, for example. The much-requested ability to filter by location will be added later.
Permits and licenses in the profile
Have you filled in information about different professional licences or qualifications on your profile? In the new version, you can enter the information in a structured format by selecting your professional licenses and permits from a prepared list. The data you have previously entered has not been lost; it’s available in the More information field.
Regional pages
Have you seen the regional pages of Job Market Finland already? The regional pages have topical information, services and jobs for a specific region. There is currently an ongoing pilot that includes a few municipalities from different parts of Finland. With the latest update, regional services will be more visible on regional pages.
