The validity of a job search profile must be remembered to republish

News

In February 2020, the labor market trial version went into practice, where the users can choose how long their profile will be visible to employers. Previously, job search profiles were public until the user set their profile unpublished or removed it from the service.

All job search profiles that were on the service on February 12, 2020 were automatically given a six-month validity period. Now those six months have passed. Unfortunately, at this time, the service does not send automatic reminder emails as publication time approaches. Therefore, many job search profiles may have gone unpublished without the user knowing it.

E-mail reminders will be introduced at the Labor Market during 2021.

Only the published profile is visible to employers

Currently, job search profiles are valid for 1-6 months. At the end of the validity period, the job search profile will no longer be visible to employers but will still remain in the service and can be republished.

It is easy to republish a profile that has become unpublished: Log in to the service, go to your own job search profile, select “Publish job search profile”, select the duration of the publication and press “Publish job search profile”.

If your job search profile is missing a title or other information, you can fill it out before publishing. At the same time, of course, you should check out which jobs the Job Market Finland is recommending to you right now.
