Reformed job applicant profile

News

The previous job applicant profile has experienced an extreme makeover. The profile is easier to fill and publish.

At the beginning of the year, we promised you this:

Reformation to filling out a profile

The current job applicant profile is fairly cumbersome, so we will be implementing considerable improvements on the process of profile creation.

Despite the promise, we did not manage to introduce the reform to you until the end of the year. We believe that the result is worth the delay.

Easier data entry

The profile information is grouped into three sections. In one section you can describe your knowledge and skills, in the second one you present yourself as a jobseeker, and in the third section you can record your work experience and education.

You have already earlier been able to describe your work experience and competence and select the appropriate keywords. In the future, you will be able to describe yourself more comprehensively. For example, you can tell us about your work preferences: what kind of work you would like to do in the future, and select the related keywords using artificial intelligence. In other words, not only will we ask where you have worked, but also where you would like to work in the future.

We have reduced the number of steps required to complete your profile: for example, you can enter links with three clicks instead of the previous six. As the only mandatory information, we ask you to let us know if you want to show the employers the experience you have entered.

Profile publishing is made straightforward

In the future, it will be simple to publish your profile, and you will be able to publish it easily on every page of your profile. In addition, it will be easy to change the duration of your publication: just select the duration and save your selection. You can also choose not to publish your post in the same way. On each page, you can see whether you have published the profile or whether it is unpublished. In addition, you can see the last time your profile was edited.

Timeline, printing and other minor improvements that make it easier to use the service

We have not forgotten the visual aspect, either: for example, you will see your experience organised on a timeline on the home page, and icons describing your different experiences.

You can also print your profile as a PDF and use it as your resume.

The data you have previously entered has not been lost, and it will be transferred to the new template.

New features

In summary, you can:

  • Create a profile to describe your work experience, education and other experiences
  • Freely describe your competence and select specific competences and professions based on ready-made suggestions. These suggestions are based on the text you have entered.
  • Describe what kind of work you would like to do in the future, and get job recommendations based on it
  • Include information on your driver’s license and other licenses, and your language proficiency
  • Give a descriptive title for your profile to distinguish you from the other jobseekers, and describe yourself in your own words in the presentation text
  • Describe when you can start work and the area in which you are looking for work
